The UIWG was provided the July 3 draft of the Miami River Corridor Urban Infill Plan.  The UIWG reviewed and revised the draft Plan page by page.  Sarah Ingle, City of Miami, stated Ana Gelambert, City of Miami Planning Director, has expressed concerns regarding the draft case study renderings by Zyscovich and Partners.  Specifically, the lower river Scottish Rite Temple case study text describes a building that would have to be larger than the 2 story development depicted in the rendering.  The UIWG agreed that the draft upper river Florida Yacht Basin case study needs the following revisions:

• The text regarding a public park should be revised
• The angle of the draft renditions should be the same
• North-south arrows should be included
• Removing the section of the rendering with new proposed residential buildings on Florida Detroit Diesel property
• The small boats should be replaced with mega-yachts

The UIWG will meet with Ana Gelambert and Zyscovich regarding revising the draft renderings.

The UIWG set the following timeline:

• July 8, 9 am, final comments from entire UIWG transmitted from MRC to KHA
• July 9, UIWG meeting, 10 am Miami Riverside Center, 444 SW 2^nd Ave, 3rd floor conference room
• July 10, revised final draft Infill Plan delivered to printer
• July 12, Draft Infill Plan delivered to MRC board members
• July 22, MRC meeting regarding Infill Plan
