Since the revised draft Miami River Corridor Urban Infill Plan will be reviewed by the MRC on May 6, 2002, the UIWG requested the consultants provide the current draft plan by April 29, 2002.

The UIWG discussed and revised the current table of contents.  Jim Murley provided the UIWG with a draft Governance chapter for the Urban Infill Plan.  Brett Bibeau provided the UIWG with the first draft Tax Increment Financing (TIF) boundary, drawn by the MRC’s TIF subcommittee.  The proposed TIF boundary is the Greenway path, including the block it fronts.

The UIWG scheduled the third and final round of Public hearings as follows:

• “Lower River” (Biscayne Bay to the 5^th Street Bridge)

Thursday, May 16, 2002, 6:00 - 8:00 pm
Lummus Park, Community Center, 404 NW Third Street  

• “Middle River” (5^th Street Bridge to 22^nd Ave Bridge)
