The Miami River Commission Urban Infill Subcommittee met Wednesday, April 4, 2001, 9 am, Miami Riverside Center, 444 SW 2nd Ave., 3rd floor conference room.  The attendance sheet is enclosed.

 

Brett Bibeau stated he had contacted the Miami –Dade School Board, regarding the Memorandum of Understanding with the School Board required by the awarded Department of Community Affairs Urban Infill and Redevelopment Planning grant.  The MOU should go before the School Board.  The earliest possible School Board agenda it could be on is in May.  The School Board requested further information about the Urban Infill Plans scope of services.

Mr. Bibeau provided the City of Miami with letters of commitment from various funding sources for the Miami River Corridor Urban Infill Plan.  The City requested notification when the Empowerment Trust’s $25,000 application, and the EPA’s $20,000 request are awarded.
